Saved Searches and Search Alerts
Within iProfile Recruiter Account, it is possible to carry long and complex queries to bring back the most
relevant candidates. You probably already have your favourite searches that you run over and over again.
With the saved searches function, you can now save these searches and run them whenever you want without
having to retype the search.
Saved Searches
For example, carry out a search for Project Managers. The search itself can be as complicated or as simple
a search as you like. The saved search function works with any search you have created. Once you have
carried out your search, just click on "Save Search".
The "Save Search" pop-up box (pictured) will be displayed from which you can name your search. Choose an
empty slot or a previously saved search you would like to overwrite. You can have up to 10 saved searches.
When saving your search you can also choose to enable alerts. This will be explained further in the Search
Alerts section below. Type in the name of your search and click on "Save" (or "Replace")
Once you've saved your search it becomes visible in the Saved Searches menu. From here you can see the total
number of results for each search and the number of new candidates available for each search. You can also
delete a saved search and enable or disable alerts.
Search Alerts
Search alerts are notifications of any new candidates that are available for any of your saved searches so
you have access to the most suitable candidates for your saved searches. When saving your searches, tick
the box "Set Alert?".
An alert pop-up will appear to notify you of relevant candidates as soon as they become available for your
saved searches.
Clicking on the pop-up alert will take you to your search results. All you're your new results will be
tagged as "New".
Using Saved searches will ensure that you make the most out of iProfile RA, as well as saving you time.
