Message Centre
Message Centre is the function within iProfile recruiter account that will enable you
to send messages to candidates directly to their email accounts. This means that you
no longer have to waste time between alternating between searching for candidates in
iProfile Recruiter Account and opening your email browser to contact the most suitable
candidates you have found in a search.
To send a message you must first run a search. From the search results grid, you can
shortlist up to 10 candidates you would like to send a message to by clicking on the
"Select" box located next each candidate's name. Click on the "Actions" button located
on the toolbar above the results grid and then select the "Send Message" option from
the "Actions" drop down list.
The "Send Message" box will be displayed. The "To" box will be pre-populated with
the email addresses of the candidates you selected from the results grid earlier.
You can only add candidates to the message by selecting them from the grid but you
can remove candidates by clicking on the "X" at the end of each candidate's name.
Don't worry that all the candidates email addresses appear together in the "To" box.
Each candidate will receive a separate email.
Add a subject line as you would to any email message and if you like, you can also
attach a document to be sent out with your message. Just keep in mind that you can
only attach one document of up to 2MB with each message. The file must also be in
either Word or PDF format.
Type your message into the text box. The macros on the right of the message box can
be used add fields such as the candidate's firstname, lastname, email address as
well as your own email address to the body of your message. This is particularly
helpful when you are sending the message to more than 1 candidate as this ensures
that the individual email received by the candidates is customised.
At the bottom of the box you will see a preview of your agency's logo that will be
added to the bottom of your message before it is sent to the candidate.
Click on the "Send" button once you are ready to send the message. Alternatively,
you can cancel the message by either clicking on the "Cancel" button or the "X"
button located at the top right corner of the box.
Candidate Experience
Once the message has been sent, each candidate selected as the recipient of the
message will be sent an email at the address listed on the "Send Message" box. From
the main list of received emails on the candidate's email account, the recruiter's
name will appear as the sender and the subject line used added will be displayed in
the subject line field.
On the email body itself, any customised fields - candidate's firstname, lastname,
email address and/or the recruiter's email address that was added using the macros
will be displayed.
Any attachments sent with the message will also be available to be opened by the
candidate.
If the candidate would like to respond to the recruiter, the candidate will simply
click on the reply button on the email and the email will be sent to the recruiter's
email inbox.
